 Steve Joyce
Steve grew up chasing Pheasants, Huns, Sharptails, and Sage Hens in Eastern MT. He was introduced to English Setters and “what it means to have a good dog” while working for Paul Roos Outfitters (PRO). PRO leases over 60,000 acres for their wild bird hunting operation near Great Falls, MT. He immediately fell in love with the challenges chasing Chukar across the desert plateaus offer the hunters and the dogs on a daily basis. He is usually accompanied in the field by his top running setter, Sallie, and a husky Chocolate Lab, Fidget. Steve and his wife, Natalie, reside in Ellensburg with their two children, Elaine (4) and Henry (2). |

Johnny Boitano
Johnny grew up in Ellensburg Washington enjoying all facets of outdoor recreation this unique area offers. Having spent many years chasing Chukar without a dog, he has gained a great appreciation for good dog work, and the heartiness of the Quail and Chukar we pursue. He started working the Field Trial circuit with Ryan last year, and looks forward each day in the field with the dogs. He and his wife, Erin, live in Ellensburg and have one future bird hunter, John Trace (1). |

Curtis Johnson
Curtis grew up in Washington pheasant country near Waitesburg WA. A standout quarterback and linebacker in high school, he joined the Central Washington University football program as a freshman in 2000. While earning a Recreation Management degree, Curtis worked full time at Tiger Mountain Kennels, learning the breeding and dog training aspects of the business. Curtis hunts with both English Setters and Pointing labs. When he is not chasing Chukar across a basalt rimrock or Quail through a briar patch, he is probably following one of his labs on the family farm in pursuit of a noisy Rooster pheasant. |
